Medicare Open Enrollment

There are two periods of Open Enrollment for Medicare Part D. The first is during the 7-month period that starts three months before the month you turn 65, includes the month you turn 65, and ends three months after the month you turn 65.

The second Open Enrollment occurs annually in the Fall. Medicare Fall Open Enrollment begins October 15 and ends December 7 each year. During this time you can change plans or enroll in a new plan.
